Above: Bright Lights in Stanely Park -All donations collected at the event, and partial proceeds from the sale of tickets for the train, go to the Burn Fund to help burn survivors and their families. Bright Nights has raised over $1.5 million for the Burn Fund. This achievement is supported by more than 500 off-duty professional fire fighters from the Lower Mainland and around BC who donate their time to set up, operate and take down the annual display.

  
     
 

Hi All,

Just to let you know that Timothy Christian School had 4 honorable mention winners and 1 regional winner in the Burn Awareness Week poster contest.

The honorable mention winners received $50 each for their school and a plush puppy for themselves. The regional winner received $500 for their school, a pizza party for their class from Panago as well as a plush puppy and a framed letter from the Burn Fund for themselves.

The presentations were made today, the Chilliwack Times, Fire Prevention and E-1 was in attendance, pictures will be displayed on the Chilliwack Fire Department web site, as well as the Burn Fund web site.
